Q: it's a v6 vs a v8, but the touareg is about 2000 lbs heavier. which do u think would be faster? anyone know from experience?
TL is a 3.2L 270hp, weighs 3500lbs
Touareg is a V8, weighs 5500lbs empty
i've seen drag times for this touareg at almost 8 seconds and the TL at 5.8, stock 6 spd MT

A: I can't believe all the people who say the Touareg would win. I used to have an 04 TL, and clocked 0-60 times of around 6 seconds, very good considering I didn't power brake or anything. I once rented an Audi A8 (which has the exact same engine found in the Toureg) that weighs less than...
